Central: Educational Programs: ABE and GED - Various work programs are available within the institution.

Cellblock 6: Educational Programs: ABE, GED, and Media, Mandatory Literacy, Special Education, Title One, Design for Living, Alcohol Education.

East: Educational Programs: ABE, AA/NA, Hazelden, Smoking Cessation, Pre-Release, GED.  Various work programs are available within the institution.

North: Educational Programs: ABE, GED, ICVC - Various work programs are available within the institution and with various outside work crews.

Picacho: Educational Programs: ABE, GED, Mandatory and Literacy - Various work programs are available within the institution and with various outside work crews.

South: Educational Programs: ABE, GED, and Mandatory - Various work programs are available within the institution and with various outside work crews.

Visitation

(ADC Visitation Policy)

Central:
Visitation Office is open from 0600 - 1600 hours daily, closed on Wednesday's.  Visits are non-contact and by appointment only.   Availability is limited per session.  Appointments can be scheduled 7 days in advance up to 24 hours prior to the desired visit session.

 

Attorney visits are on Tuesday's and Thursday's by appointment only.

 

Regular visits are held on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday excluding holidays.  Sessions are as follows:  0730-0930, 1030-1230 and 1330-1530 (2 hour visits).

Cellblock 6:
Visits by appointment only with a 72 hour advance notification (2 hour visits limited).

 

Attorney visits must be prescheduled 48 hours in advance.

 

Regular visits are Saturday and Sunday 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., 10:30 am. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Office hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and non-holiday Mondays. Holiday visits are not authorized. Non-contact visits by appointment only (2 hour visits). East: Registration hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and Holidays only. Visitation shall occur between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m..

North:

Registration hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, Sunday and Holidays only. Visitation shall occur between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Picacho:

Registration hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and Holidays only. Visitation shall occur between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

South:

Registration hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and Holidays only. Split schedule - half days in 3 hour blocks.

East:

Registration hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday and Holidays.  Visitation shall occur between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

 

Directions

From Phoenix to ASPC - Florence:

Take I-10 East to the Coolidge/Florence exit.  Follow posted directions to the Coolidge/Florence area (traveling East).   Turn right on Highway 87, pass Coolidge turn-off, and continue East until you arrive in the Florence area.  At the 'Y', turn left; then turn right on Butte Avenue (first light); cross Pinal Parkway (Highway 79) - remaining on Butte Avenue.  The main entrance (access  to North Unit, CB-6, Central Unit, and Complex parking) is approximately 1/4 mile (right turn).  For East Unit parking, continue on Butte Avenue, past the main entrance for approximately 1/2 mile.  For South Unit parking, turn right at Pinal Parkway, continue approximately 1/4 mile and make a left turn into the institutional grounds parking area.

From Tucson to ASPC-Florence:

Take I-10 West to the Eloy/Coolidge exit.  Follow posted directions to the Coolidge area (traveling North on Highway 87).  Continue through the City of Coolidge; turn right on Highway 287 (East) and continue until you arrive in the Florence area.  At the 'Y', turn left; then turn right on Butte Avenue (first light); cross Pinal Parkway - remaining on Butte.  The main entrance (access to North Unit, CB-6, Central Unit and Complex parking) is in approximately 1/4 mile (right turn).  For East Unit parking, continue on Butte Avenue past the main entrance for approximately 1/2 mile.  For South Unit parking, turn right at Pinal Parkway, continue approximately 1/4 mile and make a left turn into the institutional parking area.

From Phoenix to Picacho:

Take I-10 East to the Picacho exit 211-A. Upon exiting, continue along the frontage road to the stop sign at Picacho Blvd. Turn right and proceed 4.5 miles south on Picacho Blvd.

From Tucson to Picacho:

Take I-10 West to the Picacho exit (212). Upon exiting, continue along the frontage road to the stop sign at Picacho Blvd. Turn left and proceed 4.5 miles south on Picacho Blvd. The Picacho facility is on the west side of Picacho Blvd.
