Information for Inmate Family and Friends

Inmate Family and Friends Liaison

The Inmate Family and Friends Liaison of ADC offers a standard process for receiving, reviewing and responding to complaints from the public concerning inmate related issues.   However, such inmate related concerns should be addressed to the Inmate Family and Friends Liaison only when no satisfactory response has been obtained through the normal avenues of inquiry.  A quick guide to the initial, recommended and appropriate avenue of inquiry for most inmate related topics is outlined in a basic chart below. The chart forms part of ADC Policy and is contained within ADC's Department Order #124, "Constituent Services".
An Information Guidebook for Family Members and Friends of ADC Inmates is now available on the ADC web in browser-friendly HTML format, and for printing purposes in PDF format.  The Guidebook contains details of Inmate Management, Inmate Programs and Services, Release/Community Supervision information and full ADC Divisional contact telephone numbers, including locations of all ADC prison complexes.  Additional information is available elsewhere throughout this website, including answers to many Frequently Asked Questions.
