The Engineering and Facilities Bureau consists of two sections:
Construction Services consults and makes recommendations on
plan improvements, design, and coordination on prison construction/modification projects.
Work includes construction of new prisons; renovation/remodeling of ADC’s ten prisons;
energy usage and conservation monitoring and reporting; the annual building renewal budget request;
maintaining and updating the annual building inventory; and preparation of the
Physical
Plant Standards Manual.
Building Services provides janitorial and maintenance services; tenant relocations and
improvements; parking management; building security; development of leasing agreements; interagency
relations relating to tenant and leasing issues; and inmate worker transportation,
training, and supervision for six Central Office buildings.
