The SECC is one of the most effectively run charitable campaigns in the country with a history of providing millions of dollars to organizations who help the young and the old, the sick and homeless and those who need a helping hand. In 2004, state employees raised more than $1.67 million for SECC. And, because of employees volunteering to help with the campaign or associated events, approximately 94 cents of every dollar raised was distributed to charitable organizations.
